Thermos VIP Tube Burners and Flash Tubes
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, Thermos manufactured a series of grills that contained tube burners.  Some of the grills were called VIP series.  A few models had one single tube burner.  Most models had two tube burners connected by a set of flash tubes.  There were five different lengths of tube burners.   


Two lengths are no longer available --- the shortest one and the longest one -- but we have a good supply of the popular, three other lengths.  Below is a listing of all the tube burners with measurements and prices.
P.S.  Unfortunately, we have no cook grids for the VIP series grills and don't believe the cook grids are available anywhere.

To be sure customers get the proper and correct burner for their Thermos grill, we only sell burner assemblies by either burner part number from the owner's manual or by Thermos grill model number.  We divide the Thermos/Structo grills into two eras:

  1. Most Recent Thermos Grills (last 5 years or so). Thermos was purchased by Charbroil and Thermos grills by Charbroil have a 7-digit model number. If you have a 7 digit model number, click here to enter it in our model database for Thermos/Charbroil grills.

  2. Earlier Thermos Grills (before Charbroil owned them) have model numbers of 5-digits or other.

    • If have a Thermos model number with a grill older than 5 years, try your model number in this model database. Click Here.

Thermos - Lava Rock & Char-Bric
Lava rock is used in Thermos grills that have the traditional wire rod rock grate.  It is not normally used in Thermos grills that use heat plates.
